How to Avoid Frontier Airline’s Carry-On Fee

Frontier Airlines recently announced that it would begin to charge $100 for carry-on bags! Frontier Airlines has instituted this policy to encourage passengers to use the airline’s own website to book flights in an attempt to decrease the amount of fees it pays to third-party travel aggregators.  However, Frontier’s frequent flyers and passengers who book on FlyFrontier.com will not be assessed a carry-on fee.  This means that passengers who purchase tickets via an online travel agency such as Expedia and the like will be charged the carry-on fee.  Additionally, passengers who fail to book their tickets via FlyFrontier.com will receive only a fraction of their frequent-flyer earnings.  The moral of the story is if you’re going to fly Frontier, it pays to book via FlyFrontier.com
